The Intern: How To Prepare For Your First Day

This is a great post if you are starting to get ready for your fall internship. Most of these tips can be done over the summer!

If you are anything like me, your work placement will not start for a few days or even weeks, but that little voice in your head will be telling you to prepare and you will do so by desperately searching the web for any advice on how to prepare and what to expect on your first day. To all of you, it will be fine. Obviously, you are not going to take my word for it, but I suggest you keep reading for a few helpful survival tips – at least it will calm your nerves.

No, your eyes are not deceiving you; I am posting so soon after my last blog because I am now officially addicted to blogging. In other news, I have also began the process of mastering Twitter

If you have been following/reading my past few posts you know that I have been struggling to get an internship for this upcoming summer. As such I have been motivated to hunker down and send out applications, a mundane process to say the least. That is until I happened upon an application that wanted me to compose an interesting tweet. And I’ve never been the same (just kidding). So in order to increase my chances of getting noticed, not only did I put my tweet in the application, yet I tweeted it directly to the company.
